Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ University student Maxy Chan Mei Xuan from the Institute of Music made history when she became the first Malaysian pianist to win gold in the prestigious Asia Piano Competition (APC) in the year 2013 in Taiwan. 

Performing a piece titled, ¡®The Tom and Jerry Show¡¯ by jazz composer Hiromi Uehara, the Music student edged out some of Asia¡¯s upcoming pianists to bag the top award in the Asian Works (Young Adults) category.

Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ University was the first private university in Malaysia to receive full accreditation for its Bachelor of Nursing (Hons), and it has maintained a 100% passing rate for the Malaysia Nursing Board registration examination since the first cohort in 2009. 

Since then, 100% of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ nursing students are employed within the first 6 months after their graduation. They are in high demand especially in Singapore and employers come to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ annually to recruit them.

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ University's A-Levels Forecast Result is one of the few selected forecast results from Malaysia that has been accepted by the University of Melbourne for its bachelor degree programmes. Not only was our A-Level student Yoo Sang Won accepted into the the University of Melbourne this year based on her forecast results but she was also awarded a 50% scholarship for the three-years Bachelor of Biomedicine upon the submission of her actual results.
