Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ University climbs to 45th spot in Asia


KUALA LUMPUR: Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ University is now ranked 45th in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2025 exercise.
 
Climbing 16 spots, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ broke into Asia¡¯s top 50 for the first time to maintain its upward trajectory in global university rankings.
 
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ vice-chancellor Prof Emerita Datuk Dr Siti Hamisah Tapsir said that the new milestone showed that the University was clearly moving in the right direction.
 
¡°The new ranking is very encouraging but it¡¯s more important to note that Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ has improved its continental rank for eight straight years,¡± she said.
 
¡°This is the result of hard work, consistency and grit. I would like to thank Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ students and staff for going beyond themselves year after year.
 
¡°We want our students to stand out as consequential changemakers and we will do more to make progress in the areas of research, academic reputation and employer reputation.¡±
 
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ has nurtured four Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia inductees and an increasing number of its alumni are launching their own social enterprises.
 
The University is also ranked in the world¡¯s top 1% in the QS World University Rankings 2024 by virtue of its top 265 ranking.
