12 MarÂé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» rises in QS world subject rankings, ranks 32nd for Performing Arts
KUALA LUMPUR: Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» University made the top 500 for eight subjects in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 exercise, improving 60% from last year.
Widely recognised as one of Asia¡¯s best universities for music, Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» led the way again in Performing Arts, making a 10-spot climb to place 32nd in the world.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» is ranked in the top 100 for Hospitality and Leisure Management. Other notable rankings include Art and Design (top 150); Petroleum Engineering (top 150); Business and Management Studies (top 250); and Medicine (top 600).
Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» is also ranked for the first time in Chemical Engineering (top 450); Electrical and Electronic Engineering (top 500); and Computer Science and Information Systems (top 500).

In broad subject rankings, Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» is ranked 78th for Arts and Humanities, 132nd for Social Sciences and Management and 223rd for Engineering and Technology.
Classified in the world¡¯s top 1% in the QS World University Rankings 2025 by its top 265 ranking, Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» is one of Asia¡¯s foremost private universities.
