Responsibilities
- To provide assistance and support to the doctor in all aspects of the clinic operations including reception, consultation, procedures, customer service, products and services.
- To support clinic operation flow (front desk, registration and dispensary) when necessary, including coordinating and planning clinic activities, communicating patient needs, making referrals and serving as a resource person for insurance information.
- To ensure patients follow the clinic¡¯s SOP. Ensure patient safety and execute appropriate action to ensure a safe environment.
- To provide effective nursing care to patients; comprehensively assess patients¡¯ needs; triage patients and report accordingly; manage messages from patients.
- To administer medication as assigned; serve as a resource person for knowledge of medication uses, side effects, and dosage; check for proper medication order; document medications; obtain required consent forms to administer immunisations; notify the pharmacies of physician-approved prescriptions; review drug samples to ensure they have not exceeded the expiration date; label sample drugs and educate patients of the medication administration.
- To be responsible for clinic housekeeping.
- To take part and play an active role in all activities organised by Laurent Bleu e.g. exhibitions, roadshows, etc.
- ADMINISTRATION: To assist with the daily routine of the clinic¡¯s administrative tasks (patient registration, patient billing, daily sales revenue, stock list, reports).
- STOCK MANAGEMENT: To assist in stock control and prepare stock reports ¨C ensure stocks are available and prepared prior to treatments ¨C report any expired, damaged or missing products to the manager immediately ¨C conduct periodical stock checks and prepare stock reports.
- TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT: To maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services ¨C participate in the training programme and continuously strive to improve the delivery of products and services through training and feedback.
Requirements
- At least a Diploma in Nursing or Medical Assistant.
- Have a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) in nursing.
- Possess at least 1 year of working experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detailed-oriented, quick-witted and pleasant personality.
- Possess a high knowledge of medical terminology.
- Possess the ability to maintain confidentiality.
