Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» University has launched a book that offers a new perspective on the education system in Malaysia. The book titled, ¡°Issues and Ideas in Education for The New Malaysia,¡± was written by Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» University¡¯s School of Architecture and Built Environment Professor Dr Mohd Tajuddin Mohd Rasdi with the aim to achieve a better nation and unity. The book launch was also witnessed by Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Group Founder and CEO Dato' Peter Ng.
To improve the productivity and motivation of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the department organised a team-building exercise. Team building teaches people to work together to increase productivity.
The Baha¡¯i Community of Malaysia and the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity (ISGP) recently organised an educational trip to Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» University. The event was co-organised together with RCE Greater Kuala Lumpur organized on 13 July 2022. The event brought together students from universities around Southeast Asia to engage with students from Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» University. A total number of 70 participants attended this programme.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» University¡¯s Iraqi Student Club organised ¡°Make their EID Colourful¡± campaign. The club's president, Ezzaddin Al-Dawla and his team managed to set up a booth two days before the Eid celebration to collect donation for an orphanage centre in Cheras. More than 2,300 ringgit was collected from internal and external donors and the club managed to present the collected amount to 77 orphans located at the Rumah Kanak-Kanak Tengku Budrian.
The Iraqi Students Club works to prove the sobriety of the university, strengthen social relations and build a strong communication bridge.
31 companies participated in this Career Fair offering more than 600 full-time jobs and 500 plus co-op placements to our Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» University students. Participating companies included Public Bank, Malaysia Airlines, SkyWorld, Great Eastern, Shopee, and Beacon Hospital.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» University partnered with the Education Ministry to organise a science challenge that required contestants to devise scientific innovations to solve real-world problems. Christened the Student Life Hacks TikTok Innovation Challenge, the competition also required secondary school students to upload a portrait-mode video of their innovations, explaining their game-changing potential. The objective: To make STEM fun.
The MoU between Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» and DPSRU focuses on co-organising conferences, symposia, conducting joint research projects and publications in fields of mutual interest as well as facilitating and encouraging the exchange of students through research attachments, summer programmes and visitations between the parties.
In support of Malaysia¡¯s 100 Million Tree Planting campaign, Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» has launched the planting project called 3P-1G which stands for 3 Plants for every 1 Graduate. In conjunction with the closing of the SDG Month in June, Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» SDGs Best Performance Awards were given to the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Staff and students to recognise their hard work and efforts in implementing, monitoring and reporting sustainability practices.
