KUALA LUMPUR, 13 March 2007 ¨C A delegation from Fujian College of Medical Occupation & Technology headed by its Vice President, Chen Xiong visited Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ to establish an academic collaboration in the nursing programme between Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ and the Fujian College of Medical Occupation & Technology.

On arrival, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­¡¯s President and Vice-Chancellor, Peter T. S. Ng, together with his management team welcomed the delegation to the campus.

¡°With effort from both parties, I hope that this collaboration will be able to help meet the demands for human resource development much needed by China¡¯s mega projects,¡± he said.

A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between Associate Professor Lachman Tarachand, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­¡¯s Vice President for Business Development, and Liu Dengjiao, as Director of School of Nursing of Fujian College of Medical Occupation & Technology. 

The delegation later went on a campus tour led by Moses Ling, the Senior Director of Business Development. Members of this Chinese delegation also met and exchanged views with other members of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­¡¯s management team at a lunch hosted by Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­.
